Gambling Control Commission
The Alderney
Gambling Control Commission (the Commission) was established in May 2000, and
regulates gambling on behalf of the States of Alderney. The Commission,
consisting of the Chairman and three members, is independent and non political,
and regulates gambling on behalf of the States of Alderney. The Commission
ensures that its regulatory and supervisory approach meets the very highest of
international standards.
A prime objective of the Commission is to
maintain Alderney's reputation as an effectively regulated jurisdiction for
electronic gambling.
The Commission is engaged in regular dialogue with
other regulatory bodies at an international level. It is a member of the Gaming
Regulators European Forum (GREF), and the International Association of Gaming
Regulators (IAGR). The Commission also works closely with other agencies,
particularly in the regulation of gambling and the prevention of financial
crime.
The Commission is dedicated to establish and sustain a fair and
honest interactive gaming and betting industry, free from criminal influence and
exploitation.
Directorate of Offshore Gaming
The
Directorate of Offshore Gaming is the regulatory body responsible for the
oversight of all aspects of the Offshore Gaming industry in the
jurisdiction of Antigua and Barbuda. The Director is responsible for the
implementation of Government policy relative to Offshore Gaming.
The
operations of the Directorate are divided into two areas. The area of technical
administration and enforcement deals with the collection and analysis of all
information required to establish the ongoing fairness of gaming software and
the accurate recording of revenues for every licensee. The administrative arm
deals with the Preferred Licensee program and operation of the toll free numbers
which allow direct access to the Directorate by players. This facility allows
for the registration of complaints and inquires as to the license status of
operators in the jurisdiction.
eCOGRA
eCOGRA, E-commerce and Online
Gaming Regulation and Assurance, is an independent nonprofit organization based
in the United Kingdom. eCOGRA is committed to provide a high level of player
protection by ensuring it's members comply to eGAP, which stands for eCOGRA
Generally Accepted Practices.
eCOGRA represents a very
significant step towards a more responsible and secure online gambling industry.
It not only has established a very stringent code of conduct to which it's
members must adhere to, but also provides the means to enforce this code of
conduct through it's independent audit panel. Many gambling watchdogs have
formulated a stringent code of conduct in the past, but without actually
enforcing it. If eCOGRA succeeds in their mission, it will be without doubt the
number one gambling watchdog in due time.
Gambling Commission

Commission is an independent organization with the sole purpose of regulating

operations. Founded in 1999, The Gambling Commission was organized to assure
gamblers of a closely monitored, safe on-line gaming environment.

player will have the right to lodge a complaint against any casino member with
the promise of full investigation by the Gambling Commission's dispute
resolution department. Loss of membership will result when any casino does not
adhere to the standards of fairness.

The IGC, a
not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1996 in the US, relocating to

fair and responsible trade guidelines and practices that enhance consumer
confidence in interactive gaming products and services, and to serve as the

Kahnawake Gaming Commission
The Kahnawake
Gaming Commission, established on 10 Ohiari:ha/June 1996 pursuant to the
provisions of the Kahnawake Gaming Law, MCR No. 26 / 1996-97. The Commission is
empowered to regulate and control gaming and gaming related activities conducted
within and from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake in accordance with the highest
principles of honesty and integrity.
